DermaLab^® Combo Series
The DermaLab^® Combo is an all new skin analysis device based upon the same technologies being used in the DermaScan^® and DermaLab^® series, which have successfully proven their value as scientific research instruments for more than two decades. In the DermaLab^® Combo we have concentrated all our knowledge in one flexible concept with the goal to be able to offer all parameters in one instrument. The result is an instrument, which for the first time offers skin ultrasound for instant skin assessment in combination with traditional skin parameters such as elasticity, hydration, sebum etc.

The DermaLab^® Combo offers the following parameters in any combination: Skin assessment by 20 MHz high frequency ultrasound, Elasticity, Hydration, Sebum, skin color (pigmentation and erythema) and, finally, TEWL (transepidermal water loss). In addition, the device provides full USB connectivity, by which a USB video microscope and skin pH-metermay easily be connected. Two configurations are available: The SkinLab Combo for scientific skin analysis - ideal for product testing as well as research work. Presents high accuracy measurements in standardized units. The Clinique Combo - fulfills the need for non-invasive and objective skin assessment in aesthetic clinics by presenting easy-to-understand results (scores). This configuration can easily be customized and adapted to specific product recommendations. Summary screen, Clinique Combo The instrument offers a built-in embedded WINDOWS based PC, storage capacity for thousands of measurements and unlimited expansion capabilities via USB, printer connection (printer is optional) and Ethernet. Operation of the instrument is highly intuitive and fully touch-screen controlled. Measurements may be executed sequentially in a screen guided manner, or individual parameters may be selected as needed. A client database allows for data archiving and retrieval for easy comparison over time.
